TAG HEUER – XMAS 2021

DON'T CRACK UNDER PRESSURE

The watch brand TAG HEUER entrusted us with the creation of its 2021 Xmas campaign.
TAG HEUER has been a major partner in motorsport for many years. We therefore created a graphic universe combining the traditional Christmas imagery and those of motor racing. The Christmas elves are turned into tiny Formula 1 drivers and Santa’s sleigh into sled race cars. To drive them, the legendary Ayrton Senna, Max Verstappen or Steve McQueen. The drivers and their mechanics are working altogether to prepare Christmas as fast as possible. They work  in the TAG HEUER workshop where they test and prepare the various TAG HEUER watches. Then the watches are placed in Formula 1 sleds, to be delivered around the world.
This campaign is produced in traditional animation with the help of the Parisian studio Remembers Production. The graphic environment set up for the film was then used for all the variations.

Character design was inspired by famous race drivers and partners of the brand: Ayrton Senna, Max Verstappen, or Steve Mc Queen as the main character in le Mans 66

packaGING

The graphic elements created for the main film are declined on several supports. All the characters and cars have been modeled and printed in 3D, then placed in all the shop windows of all the TAG HEUER stores. Here is an example with the store on the Champs-Elysées.
