The Paris Opera entrusted us to create the graphic ident on the giant screen at the Bastille Opera House. Mounted on the building’s facade, this screen can be seen from all over Place de la Bastille.
The key inspiration for the ident came from a specific element of the Opera’s graphic identity – the slash: used to introduce a title, word or date… This typographic feature was used to create a basic template that can be adapted for new shows, exhibitions, marketing and so on. It also mirrors the opening of the red curtain at the start of a show.
