On the launch of their new speaker Phantom Reactor, Devialet contacted us to produce a series of video tutorials. The aim? To stop some users unboxing the wrong way or damaging the woofers by playing with them.

Devialet really wanted to make its mark. So the challenge was to create a new kind of video tutorial that was not just pleasing to the eye but also illustrative and original.
Against an empty, red digital background, a voice resounds telling humans how to use the speaker.  The robotic voice, with its posh British accent, highlights Devialet’s European origins. It also echoes HAL9000 from “2001, A Space Odyssey” to create a retro-futuristic atmosphere.
